You’ll answer a few questions and a Heva provider will decide if Balance is right for you (you’ll only be charged if approved for treatment). If approved, your prescription will be sent to our pharmacy partner, and once completed, shipped to you with included 2-day shipping.
Balance is an acne cream, crafted to be super convenient. You’ll apply a thin layer to affected areas, once daily, before bed.

What does this treatment do for my skin?
It treats acne at its source by fighting bacteria, unclogging pores, clearing infected areas, and reducing inflammation. It also treats acne for the long haul by calming and balancing skin, reducing scarring and wrinkles, and improving skin texture and tone.
What are the active ingredients?
AZELAIC ACID: Reduces the growth of acne-causing bacteria and minimizes inflammation, leading to clearer skin and fewer breakouts.
KOJIC ACID: Inhibits melanin production to lighten dark spots, and acne scars, and discoloration, evening out skin tone for a brighter complexion.
SPIRONOL ACTONE: Reduces sebum production by blocking androgen receptors in sebaceous glands, which helps to prevent hormonal acne, particularly in women.
TRETINOIN: Accelerates cell turnover, unclogs pores, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and improves skin texture and tone
TRIAMCINOLONE: Reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling associated with acne, promoting a smooth, even skin appearance.
Any potential side effects?
Possible and Reported Side Effects: Mild burning, stinging, redness, dryness, and peeling at the application site. Tretinoin and kojic acid may increase your skin’s sensitivity to sunlight. It’s critical to remember daily sun protection and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
Balance shouldn’t be used under the following conditions…Hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients (azelaic acid, kojic acid, spironol actone, tretinoin, or triamcinolone).
Pregnancy and lactation (due to the presence of tretinoin and spironolactone).
How is this different from Clarity acne treatment?
Clarity has different ingredients. While it still uses tretinoin and azelaic acid, Clarity tackles bacteria more aggressively and uses benzoyl peroxide to help unclog pores and tackle bacteria, niacinamide (Vitamin B3) for anti-inflammation, and clindamycin to further reduce acne-causing bacteria.
Both treatments are in convenient cream form, but depending on your skin condition and goals, one might be better suited for you. Our providers can look at your profile and help decide which is a better fit!
